Composting Courses; Spring 2016

Are you interested in saving money on your garbage bill? How about an interest in supplying fresh soil amendments to your garden or yard? Your opportunity is now!

ZeroWasteMarin and Green Gage Farm have teamed up to provide composting courses to Marin County residents. Two hour classes taught by Charlotte Torgovitsky will demonstrate basic composting skills such as mulching, building a hot pile, and transforming food scraps with worms. Are you concerned about rodents? Have no fear! Charlotte will teach you how to compost without rodents – HOME COMPOSTING WITHOUT ATTRACTING RODENTS

Fee: Please remember to bring cash or a check for $10 made out to CASH with you to the workshop.
Students will also have the opportunity to purchase a compost bin or worm farm at a discounted rate. If you’d like to purchase a compost bin, please bring another check for $25, made out to the Dept. of Public Works.
