Proposition 67

The California Plastic Bag Ban that was approved by California Governor Jerry Brown in September of 2014 was put on hold as the plastic bag industry argued the ban and poured millions of dollars into fighting it.

Proposition 67 is an attempt to block the ban. The plastic bag industry hopes Californians vote no, thereby preempting the ban. Please watch this 30 second video clip on Prop 67.

West Marin Community Clean Up

During this week, West Marin residential garbage customers may place cleanup materials from their homes at the curb for collection. You must follow all listed requirements to ensure collection. Items must be at the curb by 6 am on your regularly scheduled collection day. Please don’t put items out earlier than the day before your collection day.
