The JPA will be offering $449,968 to member agencies in fiscal year 23/24. The primary focus of the reimbursement program is to help institute local programs that contribute towards reaching the goal of Zero Waste and for state compliance in each of the cities/towns, the County and special districts.
Reimbursement funding is only available to those eligible agencies listed in ‘Reimbursement Guidelines’. Below is the list of milestones and related reimbursement documents.

- September 1, 2023 – Reimbursement term begins
- May 1, 2024 – Reimbursement term ends
- May 3, 2024 – Zero Waste Reimbursement Request Form due
- June 2024 – Reimbursement checks created for distribution
