Collect
Place used motor oil in a clean, leak-proof container.

Prepare
Drain oil filters and seal them in a plastic bag. Keep oil separate from other fluids.

Drop Off
Take both to a certified collection site during business hours.
Marin County residents may recycle used motor oil and filters at these participating locations. Call first to verify hours and accepted quantities. Maximum 5 gallons per visit.
