Tours of the Recology Sonoma-Marin Recycling Facility

Recology Sonoma Marin is hosting tours of their new recycling facility open to the public throughout Zero Waste Week. To see all tour times, visit: https://www.recology.com/recology-sonoma-marin/mrf-tours/

Tour of WM EarthCare Composting Facility

Have you ever wondered what happens to the food scraps and plant trimmings you place in your green bin? These organic materials are transported and then composted at large industrial facilities in the North Bay Area. If you’d like to see the process in action, join us for a tour at the WM Redwood EarthCare Composting facility in Novato – this is where the majority of Marin’s compost is processed!

Zero Waste 101 Webinars

Co-hosted by Zero Waste Marin, Zero Waste Sonoma, and Recology Sonoma-Marin, the Zero Waste 101 Webinar will help you learn about the history of zero waste, the connection between compost and climate, and how to make your lifestyle more zero waste.
